In 1992, the Infinity Paranormal Network founder had an encounter with a demonically possessed individual. Since that experience, her interest
in the paranormal became very stimulated. She began using library resources and interviewing others who have also experienced
paranormal activity to further her research for better understanding and to quench her thirst for personal knowledge.
In 1998, she used this acquired knowledge as a
foundation to form a local research group known as Ghostridaz Paranormal Research Team. This research group remained intact
and active until the summer of 2004 with the loss of only one member. With the addition of six more members in June, 2004
our founder decided it was time for some changes. New members. New equipment. New beginning.
July, 2004. INFINITY Paranormal
Investigations was created. Consisting of twelve active members, this team took on a new view with paranormal investigations.
Each were given a specific function to perform within the group. Trainings and field investigations began to intensify the
credibility of this group. Respect was being built among team members as wellas the paranormal community.
December,
2004. INFINITY Paranormal Investigations changed its title to INFINITY Paranormal Investigations Network. The coverage area
for IPIN was restricted to local counties in West Virginia and surrounding states. (Virginia, Tennessee, and Kentucky) The
team decided it was time to expand to other areas. By attempting consolidation with Northern Appalachia Paranormal Society
based in Cambridge, Ohio under the agreements to act as an expansion of INFINITY, NAPS became known as INFINITY's Northern
Operations. With this consolidation, INFINITY was now also able to offer services to those located in Northern West Virginia,
Eastern and South-Eastern Ohio, and Western Pennsylvania.
February, 2005. With using the resources available
in an online IRC chat, INFINITY Paranormal Investigations begins a new journey by founding a program designed to bring together
groups across the states and around the globe by designing and providing an online community, accessible 24 hours a day.
Being assisted in this journey by twelve other
paranormal teams, such as C.O.P.S., C.G.P.I., and more. The task became a universal effort by those involved and now were
able to provide an online forum filled with information for users seeking knowledge. This became known as the #Para-Investigators
Online Paranormal Assistance Program.
September, 2005. INFINITY PIN with affiliates
from the P.O.P.A.P. program and fellow divisions of INFINITY designed a new project targeted to help newer groups just venturing
into the field to find mentorship and advice from more seasoned paranormal teams.
Being based on a 'big brother/big sister' type
program, INFINITY is currently attempting to make this project a success by finding senior groups willing to lend a hand,
and knowledge to some new guys. This project is known as N.O.P.A.P. - Navigators Online Para-Apprentice Project.
